I was trying to do a heat transfer on a black baby onesie and the bigger letters stuck but the smaller letters didn't stick. I'm using thermo flex plus (white)Do you guys try and stay away from real small letters? Any help would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks,
Gary

We do text that is as small as about 1/8th inch or so and have no issues with the letters staying adhered to the fabric.

As said above, correct time, temp and even pressure should be all you need.

No I didn't use a pillow, I did the paper test and it held the paper on all 3 sides. I turned the heat up to 335 degrees and started putting the timer on for 20 seconds instead of instead of 17. I preheated them also. I didn't prewash them though, would it make a big difference ? Thanks everyone for the fast replies

We dont wash products before printing. There is no reason to do it. If your buying your apparel from a wholesaler you shouldn't need to wash anything. They are sold to be embellished (decorated) and are ready to be printed right out of the box.

What brand and model of heat press are you using?
Did you test the same thing on a plain t shirt? If so did everything stay stuck?

If you bought the product from a retail store it may have stain guard or the like on it. In this case you would have to wash it, sometimes a few times for the coating to wash away fully. But keep in mind many customer will not consider a product NEW if it has been thru YOUR washer.
