Heat Transfer Printers

I would like to know what type of equipment i need to make heat transfers? or are they screenprinted onto the paper?

Plastisol transfers are silkscreened. You can't make those with a printer. Inkjet and laser printers can make transfers. Any of those printers can do them, but the better results seem to come from pigment ink inkjets and lasers.

The best inkjet paper seems to be Jet Pro Soft Stretch for lights and Alpha Gold for darks. Duracotton or Imageclip for lasers.

Yes, it is called plastisol transfer, and it is screen printing on paper.
