What brand of paper are you using. Are there not instructions?
hi
the paper you brought should tell you what to try?

if not

try about 160*c for 15 seconds.
have the pressure just so its abit tight to push down the clam/swing.

Unless you are using Imageclip for inkjet you will have polymer window in some form. Some may be less but the window will be visible unless you trim the transfer close to the contour of the image.
im using McLogan super stretchy Light inkjet transfer paper i usually use about 185 degrees and press for 15 sec but the design doesnt really go on to well

Is that centigrade? If not that is too low. Typically the temp is around 358F to 375F Raise the time to 30 seconds and very heavy pressure.
Yes most transfer papers will be at 325 minimum and upwards of 375 or more. Also it sounds like your using a laser jet. Usually laser jet papers will only transfer where there is ink(at least i know the one steps from neenah papers do).
