Heat test strips or Temp. Reading gun??

Can someone recommend the "Best" method and what to use for reading the Temperature on the heat platen on a heat press??

Can you also provide the links as where to purchase both of the above or what you recommend? I have read past post's, but they are all kinda out dated and not recent post's or info?

Also would appreciate any info on proper use of strips or temp gun when checking temp.

Thanks BlackScorpian.. I bought the one for $24.99 last nite from Lou. Do you currently use one of these and how accurate are they?

Yes i am, Sure thing Brother these two sites are great for us beginners :D. My thing is more like a hobby than a business.

As far a the temp gun all you need to do is make sure all four corners are the same temperature as the middle, keep the gun at the same distance when measuring all the temperature from the press. simple enough. My press was off by a few degrees and I had to compensate by adjusting the temperature higher on the press. Also us the JPSS paper if your doing ink jet transfers, i brought other types and they didn't work out too well. It's all a matter of trial & error but eventually you'll get it. I never tried the heat test strips .

Hi,
I got some t-shirts done locally and found that the ink started to leach out.
I would like to know the reasons for leaching and how to avoid it?
It is a paper transfer process.
I want to set up my own business of T-shirt printing and how much capital is needed please? I will start from my Garage.
