When I press with colored vinyl it always comes out discolored. I always get streaks of darker and lighter colors (parts are light blue and parts are darker blue) I think this is happing with white also you just really can't see it.

Could this be the vinyl I am using, I have been buying it off ebay, I have been thinking about tryng a differnt brand but thought I would ask here first. Could my heat press not evenly heat?

i can't see it being your heat press since it is only heat unless something
got stuck on your top platen?

i would assume it is the vinyl quality you are using.

I would recommend trying a few different heat press vinyls, and that should solve your problems

Are you using a teflon sheet when you press? If not try using one with the suspect vinyl. If it is the vinyl, using the teflon will not make a difference. If it solves the problem than there is something on your upper platten.
