Hi, hope I'm asking this in the right part of the forum. Basically, I'm looking into starting up a pretty small scale t shirt printing business with a friend, and we don't currently have the funds to buy expensive equipment, so we're going to start off using transfers for now. Would a linen press do the same job as an iron, until we got a heat press? My logic is that you use a domestic iron for transfers, but a linen press should have a better effect as it would apply even pressure all over the transfer and hopefully lead to a better quality result.
I know it won't be the same as a proper heat press, but it might do for the time being.
Anyone's experience or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
