Hi Guys

Seen similar problems elsewhere but none have helped me with this one.

I inherited this heat press, no markings or ID on it, The manual simply refers to "Plain Heat Press Machine" The press looks practically brand new so has had very little use, if any - possibly down to this problem I am thinking !!

The Lever arm comes down in the middle of 2 housings, the one on the left has the timer, when I clamp the handle down this kicks in and starts counting - so power is getting to the press - The housing on the right has the temperature setting on it, this one does not light up and so the heat press remains cold :(

The manual refers to an inline fuse, I have got the plate of the back of the press but am unable to locate the inline fuse. The cables to the heating element have the heavy duty covering to protect it, I assume from the heat, could the inline fuse be cunningly concealed therein

Any help or advice guys would as always be graciously received.

Decca.:)

Well, I think some pictures can discribe more on the heat press problem , can you upload some picture?
And after it can be used, use some temperature test paper such as THERMAX, and test the temperature (Start from the lowest degree) of the heat press.
Later may be I can upload some picture also of the temperature test of our machine.

We usually run the heat press all day, and so eventually the heat sensor burns out and we have had to replace the little circuit board inside the housing.
