I am new to this but determined and excited about starting out

However as with most start ups, I have financial constraints.

Word on here is a 16x20 is best, however they are a bit too much for me. Although I would like to upgrade to one in a few months

Anyone know any UK presses available?

Also I have seen this on ebay and the seller has an almost perfect feedback rating. What do you think?

Any help or advice much appreciated

Stahls owns Hotronix and Maxx, I have both and they've served me well. A 16x20 is nice but you can get by with a 15x15 for most everything, rarely do I press anything larger.

Stahls owns Hotronix, and the MAXX presses are the entry-level presses available from them. They're all built in the USA and shipped all over the world.

The Stahls Clam Basic isn't a Hotronix, but it's built to Stahls' spec in China to compete with the cheap imports.

Personally, I'd choose the MAXX, but if you're on a tight budget, the Clam Basic is fine. In addition, I'd always recommend using a company that's in the trade and supplies spare parts and support, rather than an import/export business without the knowledge and experience to help you grow your business.

Hope this helps!
