Hat/Cap Press....HELP!!!

1390 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Silver Star DC
Good evening everyone. I have just purchased a Hat/Cap Press a few days ago to go along with my other equipment. And I just got started on an order for ball uniforms. The hats that the customer picked have a thick, structured front. I can't seem to get the hat stretched out enough to get the transfer to apply correctly. I have used the press for a couple of my own hats, but they were unstructured hats and the press worked perfectly.

Does anybody have any suggestions to get the hat stretched out to get the transfers on there right?

I am stumped and have no idea what I need to do. Please help...

Thanks

change platen IF yours have interchangeable platens...if not...try using a wash cloth to bulk up the platen

Thanks Charles for that helpful hint. I was able to get the hats done last night.
