Hi there, has anyone ever used or seen the E-Z Press in action, came across them on Ebay?

Hi Lorraine, I haven't used one, but I haven't heard good things about them here.
I have tried searching for a post on them do you know what search string I would use pls?
I tried doing a search as well, but didn't come up with much :) ez was too short of a word and press came up with a lot of matches. I tried ezpress as well.

I just had a memory of the thread from a couple months back. Let me browse back some and see if I can find the thread...

Google to the rescue. I found this thread about it:

Hope this helps some.
Oh God, thanks for that, this guy is looking at importing them to NZ as well. For newbies like me it looks good until you hear of experienced people that have trouble with them!
Hi There,

I am new to these forums & came across your question about e-z press. We had a terrible experience with Gary. Do not spend your time and money with his process. His customer service is terrible -- he tended to yell at us after the sale when we had questions. The item took 2 extra months on delivery, and came to us all bumped and scratched up. Replacement parts were promised and never sent. Its an ugly story. Please stay away from E-Z Press !!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for that, I had decided not to go with the Ez press, glad I didnt now.

Apparently you purchase something different from another person. My name is Joe and I have never had a guy named "Gary" work for me. All of my products are shipped within 1 business day and I haven't had to send out replacement parts simply because the E-Z Press just does not break. I offer a full 100% money back refund on the E-Z Press. No questions asked! My feedback on eBay speaks for itself. Feedback on eBay is more accurate now since sellers can not leave retaliatory feedback for neg feedbacks left.

And yes it is a pancake griddle that has been converted to use as a heat press machine. So what! If you can use an iron and griddle will certainly work. Oh yeah, look at the direct to garment machines. They are regular inkjet printers "converted" to print on fabrics. They were not intended to be used on fabric either but that doesn't stop them from creating a great product.
The bottom line is, the E-Z Press works and works great. It is made to save you money and it best suited for home use. It can be used as a hobby or as a business. Here is an old customer of mine that got his biz started with E-Z Press over 3 years ago: Custom Hand Painted T-Shirts / Clothing | Tattoos. I have other success stories I could share.
