I have a 2 station 6 color Harco press and I am looking for some replacement gas struts for the arms. Suspa still makes them, but they are out of stock and will have to build them for about $ 90 each. Are there any other options? The part No. is C16-01979 (gas spring).

I have 2 harco press a 4/1 and a 4/4 and I purchased the gas strtus for $25 ea at LS Tchnologies in Canada. they do them custom for you with the pressure desire. Awesome quality!!

Check with Brown mfg. I think they sells them for the old Harco presses.

mine is missing the brake, the plates are still on the arms and i see the nut where the bolt should be just have no clue what it looks like. id love to see a photo of yours if it has one

Yes I could send you some pictures, you have a 4/1 or 4/4? Do you mean where the upper arm piston stops and inserts at?

Here are some pictures of the 4/4 I'm putting in to shape. Just put new gas springs and pallets, next a good cleaning and a nice paint job! heeheh

Yes it is, its a bolt with something at the end that locks the plate un place.
