NeoFamily Fathers,
I just realized Sunday is Father's Day. LOL.
Justin and Angella(2L. My mistake at hospital. My Koglish kicked in. Now she loves it by uniqueness.) gave me party last week because Justin will be away this week.
Enjoy your family. Dad, I lost him when I was very young. Not much memory on him but I miss him often. I repeat countless times of "I wish ~". If you still have one be close to him. No one loves you more than him. You can trust all. There are so many to learn from him. Your kids will learn from you on what is Father for.
Congrat to all Fathers. Happiness and glory will be with you. You are working so hard for your Kids. Same as our dad.
Cheers! Happy Father's Day.
Since I have not much to say about Dad How and What is your story about your Father?
Anybody? I wish I do or can ~.
What was his favorite word? Any lessons you will never forget? Is his hobby become yours too? How much he loved you? What is most memorable memory? Was he strong enough to protect you and family? What kind of father do you want to be? As him? When he look you down smile with proud eyes How was your feeling? What was the best thing you did to your dad? Dad is heavy duty job which many NeoFamily's important job.
Cheers! Happy Father's Day.
My father was a 6' 4" prison guard, but boy did he love me!! I had 2 older sisters that were girly girls, not me. Since the time I could walk I was attached to my father's side. I helped him remodel our kitchen, work on cars in the driveway then when I as old enough I was able to join the guys hunting. He used to call me his "First born Son" it was a title I was not offended b,y I took it as a compliment. 6 years later my mom and dad were blessed with the actual birth of "THEIR FIRST BORN SON" my baby brother. xoxox
I have so many good memories of my dad. I am thankful he took the time to share all the life lessons with me he did. He made me a strong woman because of it.Love you "Dad"
Happy Father's Day to you NEOFATHER and all the great NeoDADS out there.
There are a group of about 20 of us heading to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon on the bikes for the weekend. So I know Bill will have a great father's day!
I was the oldest living and the only girl. I was a Daddy's Girl my whole life. He gave me my love for racing and muscle cars by owning a $99 Stocker (old time Nascar) and restoring cars (his oldest was a '64 until the day he died). They would race Friday nights and if we didn't get to go, Saturday morning I'd look out my bedroom window to see if we had any major body work for the week. If not I knew we'd have parts to clean and replace. I was the original grease monkey. He'd be turned in today for child endangerment. We cleaned the parts with straight gasoline and a rag. To this day a Bologna sandwich with chips in it and grease on the outside makes my mouth water. My first car was a '57 chevy and I never got to drive it because I got too impatient. He was teaching me to tear down the engine so I would know how it worked and how to rebuild it so I could take care of my own car. I learned a lot; I can still take care of my own car and know if someone was trying as my Dad put it "Pound sand up my a$$". I was lucky to be able to spend the last month of his life with him (Thank you Charlie) and help take care of him almost to the end. I miss him everyday and still talk to him. He's the one that has afforded me to be able to do this and stay at home to take care of my Mother. Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers wherever they may be!! Love ya Daddy!
Very touchy story. Yes, he made you who you are. He is hearing you on Every words you whisper.
No kids on earth will match Love they received but they will match to their kids which we are giving to our children now.
Happy Father's Day and beers are on me always. Perfect day for BBQ on NE.
