I'm just experimenting with halftones on my new press (by the way, if you're doing multi-color projects with no micros, stop it. Micros are so amazing) and there's something I'm wondering.
I've read that I should do all screens at 22.5 degrees, and print wet on wet. But if i achieve perfect registration, won't the dots just print right on top of each other, thus leaving white spots where colors in a gradient meet? IE the dots don't get offset?
I'm assuming there's some detail i'm not considering.
Thanks for any hints!
