Good morning,

This is my first time using halftones and I have attached a picture of what i am trying to accomplish. I am using corel draw and i have accurip. First question, I am dropping the opacity of the faded image down to 35%. I was told to change the frequency to between 40-55 and the angle to 25 with a 200 mesh screen. Is that correct? I am using plasticol ink. Second question, I am printing this on a white tshirt and was wondering if I can change the frequency and angle to use a 156 mesh screen for this job? I am probably not asking all of the right questions so feel free to give me any advice that you may have. Thank you very much for your help in advance!!! Im getting there i promise!! LOL

It's neither correct nor incorrect and it can work I am using plasticol ink. Yes you can and lowering the mesh count you can use a lower line count I am probably not asking all of the right questions Any question is the "right" question when seeking knowledge

Looks like a four color imprint. Using halftones for the background colors will give you the effect you want. Generally, a coarser mesh and lower line count will give you a more grainy look. A finer mesh and higher line count pretty much a smoother look.

You could print this as solid spot colors which would probably give you more control over the color values.
