Guess I'll introduce myself
Since I've been here and posting for awhile I suppose I could introduce myself.
Pardon my rambling in advance, because I'm highly unorganized.
I'm currently a 21 year old, full-time Graphic Design student living in metro Detroit. I attended school in Bowling Green, Ohio for 2 years majoring in marketing before deciding I was more interested in the design aspect of advertising.
In addition to knowledge in marketing and design I'm also fairly well versed in copyright/trademark (and patent) law as my mom has worked in that field for 20+ years and I've spent lots of time in her office and interrogating her
At the moment I'm looking for a way to combine my education and interests into a career that I enjoy doing. I do freelance graphic and web design when I can and am working on getting more steady clients and branching out into marketing and SEO as well.
As far as t-shirts, which I suppose I should mention since this is a t-shirt forum, I'd love the opportunity to get my design work in front of more people's eyes, since unfortunately most small business design work isn't seen by a lot of people. I'm also interested in trying my hand at marketing a product rather than a service to get some more experience. As well as building a business from the ground up, since freelancing isn't really running a business (as far as I'm concerned).
I love this forum thus far, everyone is very friendly and it's great seeing people work together with such a wide range of experiences and knowledge. Hopefully I can learn AND contribute as much as possible!
