GTX Auto Cleans After Every Print

Hello,

My gtx is auto cleaning itself and then refilling the sub tank after each and every print. I have tried cleaning everything I knew to clean, but this problem remains. I have ALOT of work I need to get done and having to wait for this each and every print is killing my production time! Does anyone know why this is happening? I have replaced the normal parts. Cleaned with the r sticks in the hard to reach places and even went to work on the print heads cleaning them.

Any advice would be awesome. I surely can't be the only one this has happened to?

Check the temperature of the work area and the humidity.
It is a good idea for your GTX to be warm and prints in humidity about 50 -60%
yes im having the same issue.. just started last night.

continued into today..
this is destroying production time.
it refilled for 13 mins before i just powererd off..

call rep probably wont hear anything until monday..

The GTX has a built in humidity meter. Keep your eye on it and see what's going on. If it's too low pick up a humidifier for about $150 at Home Depot and place it in your print area and let it run 24/7.
Actually guys this is an easy one unroll your ink bags and roll them up again chances are the roller is caught and is saying the ink bag is actually fuller than it is and with out it being rolled up there is not enough pressure on the needle to actually fill the sub tank properly. Any time the subtank needs to fill it will do an auto clean. I had this happen to me as well and that is what did the trick.

ScorpisStriker, if your printer falls outside of operating conditions the printer may perform additional cleanings; the operating conditions for the printer are 64F/18C-86F/30C for temperature and 35%-85% humidity with no condensation. If the printer is saying sub tank refilling after every print, your CMYK ink pouches may not be under roller in cartridge and there is no pressure being applied to pouch. You will want to remove all CMYK inks and inspect ink pouches. If after checking or tending to these items you should contact support if issue persists. If you’re located within the North America, please fill out a support ticket, www.BrotherDTG.com/help, or contact your original dealer if outside these areas.

the gtx did not read the magenta ink level, i manually checked the ink, and there wasnt any magenta.. once i added new magenta the problem was fixed.
i am still having the same issue and my ink pouches are all about half full.... it auto cleans after every two jobs.
Just wanted to share something silly I did that might help someone. I thought auto cleaning 1/24 meant clean ONCE EVERY 24 PRINTS. Turns out the number you enter is how many prints between auto clean and the max is 24. 1/24 means will clean after every 1 print. 24/24 means it will clean after 24 prints.

Let's not talk about my stuff up haha
