Hello I am fairly new to T Shirt (and other Garment) decoration. I hope that I can make a living at it, well at least eat and live indoors.
I feel that this forum is more focused on the US than anywhere else, or am I very wrong on that?

it is not that it is usa focused, so much as americans are very active on the interweb's forums
check any topic that has a forum (and is in english)
in my opinion this is a holdover from their origins, they were borne of sacrifice, independence and freedom

if i can use my own country (canada) as a counterpoint,
the majority will wait for a higher authority to tell them what to do and how to do it
whereas americans will tell the higher authorities to leave them alone and they will figure it out for themselves
and you can see a re-kindling/re-growth of this spirit in the last few years
with wisdom comes a sense one's own capabilities and feelings of self-reliance begin to usurp feelings of submission

i think as much as america was/is billed as the land of opportunity,
it's main attraction was/is a place where you are you (get off your knees, straighten your spine, etc.)
and this flows organically into the realm of forums
(except for those paid to glorify the thrill of being a cog for the elite systems, like yours and mine, the monarchy)

... and the USA is the largest English speaking country (sorry, I'm not going to count India :p ).

There are a number of quite active members that hail from the UK and can give advice relevant to sourcing materials/supplies there. There are also region-specific sub forums that may be of use.

In any case, welcome!
