I am Rober (pronounced row-bear) and I am a freelance graphics designer, web developer and t-shirt designer. I live in Kansas (currently) and am very interested in learning more about using heat transfers on black t-shirts. I use a heat press and have been making white shirts for some time, with no problems, however...

I recently made a rather large purchase of black t-shirts to use with a so called "one step" transfer paper made (supposedly) for use with dark colors.

Well, it doesn't and that is why I am here. I am hoping you folks can help shed some light for me. Thanks and I look forward to talking with you. -Rober

What about it didnt work? Did you peel the backing of? Did you rember not to flip the image?

Yes I peeled the backing off and you don't flip the image when using "opaque" paper. The transfer process itself worked flawlessly, it was the border around the image and through the image that made it look awful. I for one, will not put my name on a product of such low quality.

Not to fear tho.... "I have a cunning plan" ;-)
