Greetings from Vancouver, Canada. Woohooo!

Hello everyone. I just want to introduce myself. I conceived the idea of starting my own t-shirt printing business about six months ago. So much to read and so much to learn. Hours and hours spent in the t-shirt forums reading and getting a lot of useful information. But as of today I already have all the materials and equipment necessary to start printing my t-shirts.
Here at the t-shirt forums I read different opinions regarding the quality of printers, heat presses, transfer paper, inkjet or laser printers? etc. I order transfer paper from different companies and tried them on cheap t-shirts. I purchased a printer that ended up printing low quality images that I had to return it. As for the t-shirts, I bought samples of gildan, fruit of the loom, and American Apparel. I put them all in the washing machine and the only one that looked as if nothing had happened to it was the American Apparel one.
To make a long story short, here is the list of what I got:

Printer: Epson Stylus Photo 1400
Scanner: CanonScan Lide 700F
Transfer Paper: Neenah JetPro SofStretch.
Heat Press: Hotronix Auto-Clam 16x20
T-Shirts: American Apparel Organic Cotton

I am also interested in promoting more sustainable fabrics. I added bamboo/organic cotton t-shirts to my inventory as well as hemp/organic cotton ones.

Right now I am still working on my website but I am setting up a facebook page for now.
