Hey everyone!
I'm a small business owner and fashion designer based out of Dallas, Texas. I love t-shirt forums, and have really enjoyed having it as a resource for my business. I currently have my own t-shirt/sweatshirt label that is very popular within my online niche market. I started out using 3rd party printing websites to test my designs in the marketplace. Having received over 10k+ likes and celebrity endorsement, I realized that this could definitely become my vocation instead of a glorified hobby.
In order for my dream to become a reality, I first need to get my manufacturing and production costs down so that I can become more profitable. I am currently in the process of working with a local screen printer to create a couple of sample garments. If I like the results, I can move forward into the wholesale market, and finally meet the demands of many online suppliers who have shown an interest in selling my brand.
I'm still finalizing my garment choices, and will be visiting Broder Bros. tomorrow morning to consult with them. Hopefully they can track down a 50/50 cotton/modal tee for me in black or white, as it has been an elusive blend to come across in my region. If only I was in LA! :'( Other than that, I should be able to start printing a few samples sometime next week, which is some serious progress!
I really look forward to getting to know all of you on here, and when the time comes to start wholesaling, I would love to connect with any online or local "gurus" for some feedback!
