Thanks for the advice Tiger,

do you do all your business online?

I was gonna start selling online and eventually try get enough stock+profit going to justify opening a brick and mortar store, so i'm working on my business plan here at the moment!

What print method do u use or think gives the best quality finish?

Thanks Mads,

Hows all in Denmark?

Do u sell tshirts also?

Nice site, congrats on getting it going a few weeks ago "late July 2010"
Denmark is fine, albeit a little rainy :p I don't sell my own shirts, but I'm really passionate about tee design, which is why i started the gallery. It's been running for about 2.5 weeks now, I'm glad you like it :)

hey ronan,

yes, i do most of my business online.
90/10 mix of online and boxing shows.

i use vinyl and heat press.
i print on demand. i have blank shirts all tagged and ready to go. i put my designs up and if one sells i make and ship it.

cuts down on stock.

Hi Ronan!
I am in the embroidery business and I am new to this forum. I am from MN.

Hi Tiffany,

Greetings from Ireland. ;)
Embroidery is something i am really curious about as it appears to me to be the best quality finish for logos etc., is it much more expensive than say, a vinyl finish?

Fun fact; the state of MN has nearly the same population as Ireland. :)

Thanks for saying hi.

Thanks Andy thats a good idea to just have them all prepared and ready to ship.

Thats seems to make a lot of sense so thats the way i'll remember to do it.

For that reason u have my :)thanks:),
don't worry i won't be rushing into anything straight away,
i'll build upon the good ideas i'll find here and keep the day job til it starts working out for me.

The vinyl u use seems to give a really good finish, how long would that generally last before it starts to crack or peel?
Also the logo on the inside of your shirts, how do u apply that or is it awkward?
Its all very impressive i must say....

Thanks a lot. The site is updated with 4-5 new tees every day. I'd be happy to take a look at your work, even if it's not suitable for the gallery. I love giving constructive criticism :)

i use a vinyl called fashion lite from stahl's canada.
i think they call it fashion film in the us by their dealer. i really like the stuff. 20" width, easy weeding, easy application, very durable, very versatile on different materials and very thin feel. how long it lasts, i can't give you a number of washes but let's say NUMEROUS. i sponsor a boxer and she tells me she wears my t-shirts daily washing them sometimes 2 times a week. i gave her those shirts almost a year now and when i see her with one of my shirts on they seem good and she hasn't told me otherwise.

the logo in my shirts are heat pressed as well. i have a cap press so i can slip the collar over and press without having to turn the shirt inside out like i use to have to do them! LOL! it is not awkward at all. i had a 1000 neck tags done with a gap where the size should be so i could put the size there myself. i cut the sizes separately at my shop and put them in the gap. this is great for all the different sizes. this way i didn't have to order 1000 small, 1000 medium, etc.

keep the questions coming! i am on a roll.
i really like giving back since the forum has given me so much.

take it easy,
