Are there any discontinuities in the cutting strip on the right side?
Graphtec vinyl cutter uneven depth cutting from side to side.

I wonder can anyone help. I recently bought a graphtec 6000-60. I have been trying to get the blade settings right. I have done loads of test cuts.
My problem is the machine cuts deeper on the start side (under the control panel). so I can get the setting right but then the cut is to light on the other side.

Hi Brian
I don't see anything wrong with the cutting strip, apart from some score lines, from when i first set the blade a bit to long.

Use a spoon to smooth over the score lines and place some Scotch tape over the damaged area. Areas where the strip is damaged can result in an usupported area where the blade will cut deeper than in other areas where the strip is undamaged.

Thanks for your help. I have just taken blade out and put it back in again. It seems to be working fine now. I think i hadn't the blade plunger in properly. I will do what you said with spoon.
