Has anyone attempted to install i-DesignR (CE or Pro, either one) on a Mac computer using Parallels or some other virtualization environment? I hate to go to the trouble of buying Parallels and attempting the setup if someone has already given it the old college try and failed. I feel confident that the software would run just fine in Parallels but am concerned that the hardware interface may not be so straightforward to the Graphtec printer.
I would love to hear your experiences with this, good or bad. We currently use a very old PC that is dedicated to the Graphtec printer and it works, but it would be nice to have a backup system or just run it on the much faster Mac.
Thanks!
