Here is the situation:

1. I create a vector from original art.
2. I load it into Adobe Illustrator and send it to the Cut Master plugin.
3. The Cut Master plugin seems to recognize different colors for my cutlines.
4. The big problem: some of the cutlines of different colors are redundant (they are the same lines), and my cuts get made twice in some areas, messing up the vinyl.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with two colors but mine was with the weed lines. It cut the weed lines for each color and this caused it to cut right through the backing and scored the cutting strip. I just clicked off the weed lines so they would not cut. Not a big issue for me.

Pull your art back into AI, and break apart your design. You should now be able to drag off each piece from the design. From here you should be able to drag off the duplicates and delete them from your design and reassemble.

This is pretty common occurrance and has happened to me before also.

Let us know how if turns out!
