Corel has a built in Trace tool that can convert scanned raster files into vectors. Play around with that and see if it fits your needs.
The CorelTrace tool works best if you have inked the art, rather than just a pencil drawing. You can even change the settings to a clipart 2 color mode. After it is vectorized, then you can add any color you might need.
where is the powertrace tool in Coreldraw 4 ,I cant seem to find it?
If they haven't changed it, you should be able to right click on your bitmap image (in CorelDraw) and then click "Trace Bitmap" Let me know if you don't have this and I'll look it up on X4 on my other computer.

Corel 4 or X4? Trace may not have been in 4. Click F1 and search to see.

In X4 select the bitmap, then click bitmaps>trace bitmap on the menu.
Thanks everyone,i have powertrace but i have to full around with the setting on it :)

definitely no trace option in CorelDraw 4, i started doing seps using CorelDraw 6 and the trace was a separate program called CorelTrace.
