Hi everyone... just wanted to shoot off a quick note to say "Hi". My name is Eric, I am the founder/president of Bald Daddy's. We are an internet based wholesaler/retailer of signature crumb cakes.

I came to this forum to hopefully gather the knowledge necessary to begin creating a line of branded apparel in support of our company. We have been told numerous times that we should create an apparel line with our catchy logo and company name. Problem is.. where to start? We have purchased some small quantity/high priced merchandise for internal use, but I would like to take the next step in creating a custom printed/labeled t-shirt line to sell through our site. At this point I am a dry sponge... I am looking forward to soaking up any and all knowledge you all are able to provide me as I start down this path.

Obviously, I will need to start from square one. I guess this would mean finding a quality T-Shirt supplier, and a screen printer that is capable of printing/relabeling the shirts. We would handle to fulfillment in-house. Suggestions?

Many thanks in advance for all the help and assistance you are able to provide.

Hi Eric and :welcome:

I went to your site, and the cakes look delicious.. I could almost smell them! :)

Would you also be selling your shirts thru your site, or do you have a retail location somewhere?

Hi Kelly... many thanks for the compliments on the site and our cakes. Although I am a bit biased.. they are amazing. ;) I don't want to violate any terms of use on the board by overtly selling products, but if you are interested, send me a PM and I can give you a 15% off coupon.

At this point we are truly an internet-based wholesaler/retailer. We are in the process of establishing relationships with coffee shops and other sundry stores to sell our cakes in an effort to increase our retail presence. I imagine we will be selling our apparel and branded merchandise exclusively through the web site unless other retailers show an interest. With all that said, we don't have any plans to open our own retail storefront any time soon.

The reason I asked that was this thread I was reading recently. Your post brought it to mind. I just want to run it by you, I found it interesting. Looking at Rodney's comments. Here you go:
