I have been cutting vinyl stickers for 4 months now and selling them locally - using a roland stika 8 and have finally made enough money to make the jump into shirts and other stuff -

I am going to get a roland gx-24 - have extra blades from my stika to use for large vinyl and to cut around inket transfers

A heat press - 11x15 not sure brand but reading here makes me want to get something good - most likely the Phoenix™ Phire 11" x 15"

already have the epson c120 referb

just need to figure out what I need to make long lasting inkjets/sublimation prints for shirts

oh and I guess learn how to use the roland software to cut around my printed images

this forum is great

thanks

Found a used cx-400 roland cutter and wonder if this is a good way to go instead of the gx-24

it cuts huge decals 40 inches but no optical eye to cut around transfers? reading on the roland site you can put in a pen line up crops take out the pen put in the blade and die cut shapes sounds like it would be a total hassle if you have to do more than 1

any thoughts?
