Hello,

Does anyone no how to create a t shirt mock up with GIMP? I have searched the forums but was unable to find this information. There was one source but the link is bad or the domain has been abandoned. A step by step version would be great. I tried to create one with a Photoshop tutorial but I can't seem to match up the tools.

If you are just using plain GIMP, try downloading GimPhoto with the GimPad interface add-on. You only run the GimPad application. It brings GIMP closer to Photoshop (though not all the shortcuts are exactly the same) and organizes the windows better. Make sure you take note of the instructions on the website that discuss what directory to delete if you've ever installed GIMP or GIMPShop (crashy outdated photoshop-style overlay).

How does GIMP handle Export to PNG? I'm not referring for website purposes but for DTG Printing purposes instead. I know some DTG printers prefer this format because of compression and less RIP time vs. PSD and EPS formats. Thanks

GIMP can definitely export to PNG, and I think it also does EPS (though I don't know how well).
