Hey all,

Im having a little problem with my screens after burning and was wondering if anyone has a solution. After I burn my screen and let it dry, I have a ghost-like residue of emultion left in the image. I'm wondering if my burn times are out of wack, but I'm not sure. It usually only does it to the lower mesh screens. Any thoughts?

are you sure you are getting them washed out well

what type of emulsion are you using? make sure you washout all the image area...and pat dry with newspaper ..this will eliminate the emulsion from running while drying.

Looks like it was just a little dirty screens that messed my day up, I'm letting the degreaser sit on the screen for about 5 min before washing it off and it seems to have helped!

I let my screens air dry, should I be using a newspaper? Does that help??

pat drying the screen with newspaper eliminates the diazo from running .....if the diazo isnt running into the image area , then I would say you dont need to pat dry the screen after washout.
