Hey all! What a fantastic site! I did things a bit backwards. Found a smoking hot deal on CL for a heat press machine, bought it, now have to learn how to use it! So yeah...I'm new! I did make about 30 t's for a fundraiser we did in August using my HP C5180 inkjet printer and some papers I bought at Wally World...the t's looked great until they got wet! What a drag! I tried out some sample papers from Alpha but bottom line I have a lot of learning to do! I have peeps wanting t's and no clue how to make them, ink to buy (oh did I mention I don't have a ton of money?) LOL But we all start some where right? I'm ready if there's anybody out there that wants to take me under their wing and teach me the basics...

Hi YTM, if you don't have a ton of money wouldn't it be better to do transfers to generate some cash? Sublimation ink isn't cheap.

Thanks for the response BSJ...That's my plan. I bought the heat transfer machine, just need to figure out where to buy ink and ht paper so I can start making some tees. I'm brand spanking new so starting at Kindergarten and working my way up as fast as I can.

Start with the list on the left side of the page. As for sublimation ink for HP C5180, I got no idea as I have been searching for Epson 1410 supplies. There are threads on ink, so you would be well advised to read those and ask questions if your stuck. That's what the forum is about, asking questions! Cheers
