Hello,

Please forgive me as I'm sure it's been answered many times previously. We've always relied on direct embroidery but for many reasons want to make this switch.

We are looking to get started printing sublimated patches that will primarily be heat pressed and then stitched on to sports and athletic bags. Possibly sometimes sweatshirts. Probably maximum dimensions will be about 12" x 12". We produce about 10,000-15,000 pieces a year overall, but not always adorned.

Can anyone recommend some good printer models and patch materials that we should start looking at that would fit our dimension requirements, and possibly capacity?

Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

We have a Sublicloth and Subliflock material that comes in different size rolls. It can be sublimated, and then heat sealed onto most materials. You can also stitch around the outside to give it an applique look. I can also answer any questions about sublimation printers.

We have been providing sublimation patches for
many years. Easy product. I recommend an automatic
press because heavy pressure is required.

For the printer, I recommend the Ricoh GX7000 printer
with the sublijet inks. Texprint r paper is the best fit.

Use Teflon on the bottom when pressing.

Let me know your questions.
