Hey everyone I have about 50 left over shirts from a clothing line that was started a year back. I'm looking to get rid of them, preferably I'd like to sell them for as little as possible. If anyone has any ideas/advice how I might be able to go about doing so I'd really appreciate it.

Donating them seems like the way to go. If they didn't sell when you had the time and space to sell them, you probably won't be able to do it now. Help someone out with the surplus.

To the extent you can take a tax deduction, do it. But for most people in our business, this type of donation doesn't help their bottom line. The standard exemption generally supercedes the detailed.

Chalk it up tried and lost, and try something else. You'll find a design someone will like.

I would donate them to a homeless shelter or a children's charity. I work for a church run treatment home and this type of donation are always welcome. You can get a deduction and help out some kids too. .... JB
