Greetings,

I am looking for some help with getting my products into stores. My site is AmericanEmpireCo.Com. Some may find my site and the product I sell offensive due to it's staunch patriotism,etc. You have been warned. LOL. Anyhow, It is a new site and still a work in progress. Back to the subject at hand. Do you guys know any good sales reps or agency or stores that caters to small upcoming business like mine? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think your concept is interesting, but the website needs a ton of work.

Sales reps and agencies are usually very cautious when working with new brands. So there really aren't any that actually cater to smaller companies. Your best bet is to find reps, send them your info and see if they are interested.

To find reps, work backwards...
Find out what stores you want your shirts in. Then see what brands they carry. Then check out the websites of those brands and see if they list their sales reps.

As for stores, start by contacting local retailers and ask for the owner or buyer. Make an appointment to show them your samples. Make sure you know your wholesale price and offer up the best margins you can. Retailers need to believe they can make money off your brand to take you on. Also, make sure your products are relabeled and hang tagged. Presentation is everything.

I agree that your website needs some work. I didn't see anywhere on the site where I can purchase the shirts, what your wholesale terms are... These are all things that a rep would look for when picking up a new line. Did you receive any press that you can post on your site? Testimonials from customers? I think you need to launch your real site before even approaching repls/
