Hi. Just wondering if anyone here has ever used generic ink cartridges. Went to a store to buy some ink for my Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (which I use to print out my designs for my heatpress) , and noticed a generic cartridge was cheaper in price but was hesitant to try it. Did some research and found some generics online for about three dollars a cartridge!!
Are these just as good? Would this ink be water resistant?
Any info would be great!

Thank you, thank you! I used to have an HP, and was using that until it gave out on me from regular wear and tear. Since I have been heatpressing more and more, I went with the Epson 1280 for a replacement after all the great feedback on this site about using the Epson printer.
It is true that HP ink will wash away after so many washings.
I'm sticking with the Epson- no generic for me. Thanks again.
