2 different ink styles. so no. the same companies make inks for both printers but you will never find bulk liquid ink bags for ricoh since they use the closed cartridges. so you have to get cartridge style ink for them. and from what i hear they dont clogged like epson and you get more prints per ml

You can find refilable cartridges for Gelsprinter on the market. Also there is bulk ink.
Only I am not sure about sublimation ink for this printer.

To Pixtar: I have Ricoh sistem and never have clogging. On the other side, my Epson stylus d120 (I have two of them) have clogging problems allmost allways (with sublimation ink). Only with magenta, but...

From what I hear that there are no clogging issues with the Ricoh system, well yes, in my opinion that makes the Epson sublimation system "old technology" now.
Keep in mind the clogging issue has nothing to do with the Epson printer. The vast majority of dye sub printers uses the same heads (piezzo). It is the frigging Artainium ink that is the issue. Unfortunately Sawgrass still pushes this ink on the small format market. We use J-tek ink and have not had a clog in months using Epson printers.
