I seem to having endless problems with this.

This time i installed the 30 day few trial and the program worked well, after the 30 days trial ended, i installed the full version.

But now every time i am using the programme to cut a design i end up with four or five simultaneously so i have to end the programme manually.

So the designs are the ones i have used before without problems.

I am getting frustrated now with the whole thing and i am asking for advice.

i have tried to un-install and re-install and creating the design again as i read that it might have multiple layers.

Whats your views? i would really appreciate the help.

If this is repeating the cut there are a couple possibilities.
First, make sure you don't have vectors on top of vectors. Sometimes people accidentally create a duplicate set of vectors on top of one another in their artwork. This will cause the cutter to cut the image as many times as there are duplicate vectors.
Second, make sure the software isn't set to send multiple passes to the cutter. A cutter can cut through thicker materials by recutting or multiple pass cutting.
Third, make sure your machine isn't set to cut multiple times. Sometimes vinyl cutters will store the image in a buffer and then recut it depending on a setting on the LCD panel. I don't know if your GCC has this capability or not.

It is a Gcc exert that I Am using.

I have used the designs before so It can't have duplicate vectors as the first time it was used this never happened.

How would I go about checking to see if it isn't set up for multiple passes.

If we are convinced this is software related, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software. To make sure it is software related, download a 1 week trial version of SignCut at www.SignCutPro.com and see if SignCut does the same thing. If not, it is software. If it does, the issue is cutter related.
So i downloaded the sign cut pro and only one cut.
So it must be a problem with the the settings on great cut.

I will have yet another go ar uninstalling the programme

When you uninstall GreatCut can you make sure that there is nothing left behind? When we uninstall Flexi, there are options to leave the settings behind so that when it gets reinstalled you have the same settings. GreatCut may have something similar going on. After it is uninstalled, reboot the computer and then check the shortcuts to make sure they are gone and look for a folder in programs and features to make sure it is gone.

It would be nice if there was a way to reset the GreatCut settings. It may be necessary to contact your dealer or GCC directly to see if there is a way to do this.

I have uninstalled the programme & Rebooted it looks to have removed all. but i have clicked on the notifications and i still remembers Plotman.exe so now i am trying to remove this but having difficulty finding it.

I have contacted Tech Support but waiting for a response.
