I have searched the forum and haven't found any other threads on this topic so I apologize if it's been answered before. I received my GCC Expert 24 and got it set up to the point where it cut one file for me perfectly. I attempted to do another file and the cutter stopped mid-cut and then was unresponsive. I turned it off and back on again and the carriage moved back and forth as it does when it is reading the media but it won't stop. The carriage just keeps moving back and forth. I let it go for awhile, wondering if there were jobs in the queue that just needed to work through but that wasn't it (it kept going for 30 min). Then I turned it off and left it off over night wondering if it just needed time to reset but that wasn't it either.

Any ideas? When I plug in the USB to the computer the computer does recognize it but I can't get it to do anything besides resetting the carriage over and over. I emailed tech support and haven't heard back from them. I'm wondering if there is a way to do a reset?

Thanks for any help you can give!!

I know you prob do have your pinch rollers set up at the white marks with two outside rollers and red in the middle. You might try turning it off and unplugging the unit from outlet, for some things require this to reset. I guess you have tried repositioning your pinch rollers. I'm betting its something to do with your pinch roller positions.I have a expert 24 but, I haven't ran across this yet.

Good Luck

If your pinch rollers are too close together this will happen. Have you tried moving them further apart?
