How many of us have been caught where you use the same product month after month and suddenly there are problems.
You then contact the vendor and find out "they'd changed the vinyl"...
Last week I finished off the last three yards of a roll of product XX that I'd had for about 2 months and started a new roll of the same product that had been ordered to keep our stock up.
Big surprise in the few minutes it took to load the new roll, and with no changes or modifications to the cutter settings, it flat out did not cut.
I had to reset blade depth and pressure slightly. After that is was fine but seemed to have a less sticky backing than the previous roll.
Had a similar issue last fall when vinyl started falling off football jerseys. Found out later that the adhesive used had been changed and required a change in temp and time.
These were not from the same manufacturers.
