Hello

I am building a R3000 DTG printer using friction drive to move the platen. The dc motor that will be driving it needs to have the wiring reversed. The current wiring comes together in a plug so I assume I’m going to have to cut and splice to reverse the wires. I may also need to add some length.
Has anyone done this already? If so do you know what gauge wire is is? Appears to me very thin gauge.

Thank you for the responses! I’m not all that experienced with soldering so I may stick to using the wire splices with the solder in the middle to heat with a heat gun. Those are pretty slick. Great to know the wire gauge doesn’t much matter but I’ll take the motor to HD and try to match it up.
