One more thing about Upwork. I worked on upwork few years ago. I wonted to check my competition, so I created another account and posted a job, to see what will happen. Bunch of people wonted that job, cause I offered bunch of money. There was one guy, which was top rated designer.His hour payrate was not expencive. He offered free test picture so I can see his skills. I accepted his offer and gave him a test. I gave him test: Make me a Lion, which jump thru the window and glass is shattering all over the place. I got his work the next day. I never seen the crapiest photoshop work ever. I mean seriously. That lion was just cut off from the picture and the hairy texture was missing all around the lion. I wonted to throw up...
But, there are still so many people, which think he makes good stuff and they are willing to pay money to him. And he is seeling crap like pancakes..
You wanna quality work? Lets do the math... 15 dollars per hour/one week/8 hours per day is how much?
And people talk about lousy 5 bucks...
