I know I have alot to research and read here since I am a newbie....you all probably have this topic somewhere........but looking for your thoughts of this:

I have an upright freezer ( tall single door type ) like a inside house fridge.

I was thinking of modifying it to dry and store my screening frames.

Your thoughts??

I too was thinking about this... I have a desire to store some frames with ink in them and figured the more air tight the better.

it is sitting in garage not being used...we do not plug it in....why not modify it ...and add fans etc to it ...and use it for this hobby

Well, if it works it might be better off being sold on Craigslist then using that money to buy something/build something more fit for the gig.

well this one is so old...it would cost a forture to plug it in and use it......dont think anyone would want this old electricity hog

You would be surprised... and if it's old looking then that's even better since vintage is big right now.

True........I been to bike and car shows...and there was a family that restored such items back to original or with Coca Cola....Harley Davidson ect paint schemes.....So you have a point there

I'd love to have a vintage looking fridge to dry my screens haha that would be awesome. If you think you can modify it, go for it.. post pictures also!
