hi guys, this is my first post. and i really need ur help on this as this is very important for me. sorry if u feel its too long please do read it and advice me at the best of ur experiences.

i m using a oki 711 wt printer. and i m using forever heat transfer papers. the problem i m facing is for dark garments.its a 2 step process as u all must be knowing. printing on A paper and then marrying it with B paper. this is where everything goes wrong. i do exactly as per the company instructions like 200 degree Celsius 5 bar pressure for 60 seconds to marry these 2 papers. but when i do this at times my whole print from the main paper A get transferred to paper B. i tried multiple settings with different temp pressure or timings with every time different result and different success which never happens for the 2nd time. guys everything is ready nd i m about to launch my business next week and i m facing this huge problem. please help me out. or u can advice me any other heat transfer paper
which works on my oki 711 wt in which i can get transparent background and needs no weeding or cutting and which can print multiple colors and yes also white.

note : - i m not facing any problem while transferring on the t shirt which is 2nd step after the marrying the 2 sheets successfully which happens after i have wasted some 8 to 10 sheets on the fist place.

hope to get the best of advice from the people who r using this product like oki and forever papers.

this is my email address if u would like to send me some useful links or videos. [email protected]

thank u very much in advance.

Hi, I have experience with the Magictouch paper which is a similar system and the temperature is much lower at 135 degrees for 40 seconds. I'm thinking you are above the toner melt temperature so the toner is transferring to the mask sheet rather than the other way around.

When working with the A-B dark garment systems, it is important that the separation process be done in a consistent fashion. The heat press should be of proper quality that it maintains even heat throughout the entire surface area, the bottom plate needs to be properly preheated so that heat is even top and bottom, the "peeling" of the two sheets should be done close to the bottom plate to maintain even heat and the peeling should be done in a smooth sweep without jerking.
There is a new A-B "Low Temp" that has improvements to make the peeling less sensitive.

yes i know about neenah.. but over here in india i dont think anyone supplies it. forever papers i getting them easily through a dealer. but anyways i would like to share my experiment on laser dark forever paper.

after wasting one whole box of laser dark papers A and B i came to a conclusion that its ****ing waste of time money and effort. i started at 200 degrees for 60 seconds, well i m only talking about A to B pressing nothing else. this setting didn't workout.. after wasting several papers the nearest peel i got was at 240 degrees at 75 seconds but that was also not consistent. and yes u have to do this peeling the moment u open the heatpress. not wasting even one sec. so my point is we are humans.. we make mistakes we can't be so accurate everytime. so that means if i m even slow or wrong in 0.01 percent of this whole process my paper is wasted. that means extra loss. more frustrations.

so after wasting time money and energy i came to a conclusion that i will only sell light garment t shirts on my website.. ya sorry i forgot the light garment transfer paper is really nice no problem in that. but again u have to b pretty fast with the whole process or else the paper and the tshirt is wasted. will continue selling light garment transfers until i some good dark garment transfer papers come in market like one paper system.. or else someday DTG PRINTING :)

Have you tried the new Laser Dark Low Temp foil? This new product replaces the conventional 2 paper version with a new transparent foil and paper. The foil has a broader temperature range and is much easier and more forgiving to human error.

Please note that I am directly helping Forever with product sales and support in the US so I don't want to mis-represent myself I am not a printer. I am just back from training in their factory in Germany where we reviewed correct and incorrect methods for using this material.

I just got my first White Toner Printer a few days ago, and have been successful and happy with the Forever A-B Low Temp. Worked on the very first attempt, but haven't done any washing yet.

The video instructions seem to have one additional step that does not seem to be listed in the printed instructions. That is, use a cloth and wipe (press) down on the B paper for a few seconds before peeling hot.

Best of luck.

Is it supposed to feel like a cheap Avery iron on transfer? I haven't been able to produce a retail quality shirt with my new oki and forever laser dark or joto parophy transfer papers yet. They look meh when im done and worse after washing. That printer and transfer RIP software was soooo expensive, hoping to find some guidance in here. I'm using a swing away heat press and haven't had any issues with sublimation or htv. Here are pics of my flops....
