Durability on the Forever Flex Soft metallics is incredible! They have great stretchability and excellent washability. Much better than the regular Flex Soft colors.

We are in the middle of an extensive wash test and documentation video. The test has a control shirt and three wash shirts. The wash shirts are going through three different wash methods. Light Wash - Hang Dry, Normal Wash - Casual Dry, White Wash - Heavy Dry.

We are testing a range of products that includes the Forever Flex Soft, LaserDark, Shockline, Neenah, and a couple of Inkjet products. We are up to 10 cycles in the test and I can say with no reservation that the Flex Soft metallics show no discernible wear in the Heavy Wash group. Some of the regular colors (Yellow, Green, Red) are starting to break down in the heavy wash - but none of the metallics!

I will be posting the videos to the White Toner Success group on Facebook in a few weeks after I get back from vacation.

Forget the lab environment "wash tests".
I actually wear my test shirts for around 2 days before each wash. They are no way near as durable as plastisol, or plastisol transfers. They are however on par with DTG.
