Long story short, a local racecar driver's team wants their shirts re-done by our shop. His only request is that the number font stays the same.

I can't for the life of me think of any other place I've seen this typeface. I could trace it out, but would prefer it to be as perfect as possible so I'm looking for the source font, if anyone can lend a hand.
