i am working on some artwork for a tattoo shop, they want the tattoo font, but with a red colour in the shape cut out.

the font i am using is tattoo ink, does anyone know of a way of colouring in the font spaces ??

convert the lettering to curves, then break it apart, that will allow you to "fill" the font.

why not use the smart fill tool..... Type your words in the font style, unselect all, select smart fill tool, change the fill color to red and then click on the areas that need red fill. The only thing is that the shape or space being filled needs to be closed.

hope you are charging for a rush order, i would. life is to short for madness and lack of sleep.

there is also a tool called Boundary that would work as well. Might be quicker on a lot of letters as it will create a boundary object around all objects you have selected.

It is hidden somewhat. Once you have multiple objected it will pop up on the property bar. In order to use it on one selected object you will need to customize Corel and add the tool button via customizations
