We haver used both plastisoles and waterbase...we have changes and tried a variety of adhesives...foils...etc...it seems like the likely problem is with the pressing, but temaptures and pressures work well on some but than a disaster on others and this is with three different pressess...I'm at a loss?

You could check to see if your press is getting up to temperature. Medium to firm pressure works well. If you are using adhesive, you need a good coating. You could use a smaller mesh like an 83 or even a 60. You want a good deposit of adhesive first, flash it, then place your foil on and press.

Try this, Press the shirt until you know all the moisture is out of it. We made samples of a sweat shirt with a Christmas design in the summer and they were great. When we did a production run in Nov. the foil came off, turns out it was the humidity because of the rains was the problem.
Good Luck, John

Wow, this is not good... I agree pressing the garment until you know it's moisture free. Other than that much like the other poster I would suggest making sure the press is getting up to temp but didn't you say you had tried 3 different presses or was it 3 pressing attempts?

Yes...we actually purchased a specail piece of equipment to make certain the tempature readings were accurate and all are...the mystery is that in the same stack of lets say 200 shirts...you can of groupings of 10-20 shirts here and there in which the foil comes right off while a grouing right before or after the foil is just fine??

 wow, that really doesn't make any sense at all. ok, if the heat is good, i dont know what else it could be since some appear to work the way they should and others come right up.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do with the shirts that have the foil coming off?

Any ideas of how to cure the foil on so as to prevent it's coming off?

I've tried passing through the dryer again and re-pressing but no luck?

Thanks Again
