Foil problems

hey guys

Having problems with foil at the moment, the temp is 145 degrees celsius 15 second. The foil is green in colour but I seem to be getting the result as silver instead.

Any suggestions or help would be much a life saver

It looks like the green is peeling off the foil for some reason. It might be sticking to your cover sheet or there might not be enough adhesive under it to get it to stick all the way. Or you might not be using enough pressure or letting it cool completely before removing.

What kind of ink are you pressing it on? It will work with plastisol and foil adhesive.

Spent the whole day experimenting. Figured out that it was to do with pressure. Since I am doing the foil on a complete garment, I had to shove a piece of cardboard between the front and back piece, the reject rate dropped from 80% to 10%. The foil can still be fixed by putting adhesive on top to fix, but I end up losing the shine. Still better than nothing.
Glad you got it figured out.
