Hello, I've been doing some kitchen Towel samples on my auto (Diamondback S) I am using Multiprnt to get good coverage. Unfortunatly there is a seam on the bottom. I set them up so the image area ends before the squeegee hits the seam. The problem with multiprint is the platens stay up against the screen when making multiple passes. The flood bar hits the seam popping the screen. This only happened once as I changed to engaging each print one at a time. Not a good strategy for a production run of hundreds though. The image ends 1and a quarter inch from the seam. I have raised the pressure on the flood bar hoping this will help along with loading more ink than I usually would. Any other ideas out there? I could put cardboard on the platens so the floodbar doesn't hit the seam as hard? But I am flashing the first color of a two color set up. Welcome any other ideas. Thanks n advance

You can build up the pallet in the print area, leaving room for the seam to drop out of the way. We've used cardstock, & neoprene at various times to do this. You will have to adjust your off contact relative to the higher surface, however.

You can also run several strips of tape on the underside of the screen, in the area where the flood bar stops. This can help pad the screen against the extra pressure.
