First Job, need advice please!!!

I'm getting ready to do my first job. 2 color on white. See attached design.

I need suggestions on how to print this. My thought is to lay down the light blue first, with the dark blue overprinting to make sure the small light blue type comes through clean. I suppose the other option would be to lay down dark blue first, then come back with light blue type overprinting the dark blue...but I fear it might not be opaque enough.

Could really use some advice before I get started prepping the art.

Thanks so much!

This is not a tough job! Its very simple! First you may have to print dark blue on white and light blue because, if you print dark blue after light blue then dark blue will be more prominent this! What you thinks ? this is a simple screen printing job! Good luck
I would knock out the light blue from the dark blue....then trap the two together. maybe 2- 3 pixels depending how your press registers.

good luck

Are you saying lay down dark blue first, then light blue? What about the light blue type?

Prepping the files with trap I can do, but given its my first screen printing job, I'm nervous about registration. Do you see any issue with overprinting the dark blue?
Anyone else have any suggestions for me?
i would light blue first and make sure your registration is spot on...and if your colors start to bleed. i would flash between colors...
I would lay lt. blue first, then dk. blue. I would not overprint, as it uses more ink, and I hate to flash if don't have to. This can print wet on wet with a slight trap/choke(whichever is the right term), but don't go to far with it or you will get a "shadow".
