I KNOW this is somewhere on this site, but as you can imagine I turn up millions of responses so I just don't know what to ask for. What I'm looking for is to individually bag each shirt (both t-shirt AND embroidered polos) and then heat seal or it could be a type bag that folds over itself to somewhat seal it. I'm just looking to keep the shirts clean and neat.

Does anybody do this? if so what size bag are you using? I did some folds and it looked like a 12x12 would work ok, but I don't know how much room that would leave me for the heat seal. Would 12x16 be easier? Just looking for a little advice from someone who has already done it.

thanks

Depending on your volume, may be better off getting a roll bag, which is basically a long tube you heat seal on both ends, you just keep cutting pieces off of it to length. You would just have to figure out what width you need, can't give you any input there though. Most t-shirts we used to get for customer giveaways from various industrial companies were folded up real small. I've always preferred heavier packaging, but I'd say about 90% of them came in 2 mil bags. For a shirt it probably doesn't matter so much since it's not going to rip through it unless you've got metal zippers and buttons. I've always felt having better packaging radiates better quality but there's also a cost factor to consider.

We are looking into this area as well. How does everyone package their orders for shipping?

And how does everyone package their orders for pick-ups or local deliveries?

We have been looking into small heat seal machines but are trying to decide if its worth it...
